The International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas has one more day before it closes its doors and most camera and lens manufacturers have already made their announcements regarding some of the products to be released this year.

At CES 2014, Sony unveiled the NEX-3 successor, A5000 interchangeable-lens camera that, as of now, is the world's smallest and lightest mirrorless camera on the market. Besides that, the company also revealed two new Cyber-shot compact cameras, the W830 and W810 aimed at low-end consumers.

According to SonyAlphaRumors, a few trusted sources claim that the company will be revealing the NEX-7 successor along with a new A-mount digital SLR in three weeks from now.

The same source states that these cameras will be announced on the same day. Moreover, the new Sony E-mount camera will be called A7000, while the A-mount DSLR bears the name A79. In addition to that, the company will also introduce a new full frame A-mount DSLR in February-March this year.
