14 DAY TRIAL // Sega has finally released an official trailer for its upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II game, bringing with it an estimated release date of spring 2012.
Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode I was pretty impressive when it appeared last year, featuring overhauled versions of classic Sonic levels from previous games.
Since then, not a lot has been heard about the next episode from Sega. Thankfully, as we saw in recent weeks, several leaks appeared and brought with them lots of impressive details.
Now, Sega has released an official trailer for the upcoming game, showing off not just its variety of levels, but also confirming the return of Sonic's sidekick, Tails, and the villain of the new game, Metal Sonic.
Check out the gameplay trailer above and get ready for the release of Sonic 4: Episode II this spring for consoles like the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, as well as on mobile platforms like Android, including devices powered by Nvidia's Tegra 3 technology, or the iOS.
