In July last year, stunning actress Sofia Vergara became engaged to longtime boyfriend Nick Loeb but they did not announce a wedding date. As it happens, Sofia is planning a wedding ceremony to top all wedding ceremonies.

Speaking with People magazine, the star says she hasn’t had that much time to do some actual planning for the big event but she’s already made up her mind about one thing: it will be one to remember.

“If I'm going to do something, it's going to have to be a big event. I just had my 40th birthday in Mexico. I had more than 100 people,” Sofia says of her plans.

Indeed, her birthday celebrations in Mexico made plenty of headlines at the time so it makes sense for her to want to top that when it comes to her nuptials.

Sadly, for the time being, this is just a plan because neither she nor Nick has yet started the wedding preparations.

“Now I don't have the time – and it will have to be one weekend when I have the time to plan something fun. I don't even know what I'm going to do,” Sofia admits.

One thing she will probably not do is have a toast included in the ceremony.

“We don't do that type of tradition. [Nick and I want] more like of a party [with] music, dancing, a lot of food; not really sitting there hours and giving speeches,” the actress admits.

She doesn’t offer more details about the wedding.

Sofia and Nick kicked off the New Year in a less pleasant manner, by being thrown out of a club after he reportedly got into a fight with one of her exes, who was also there and who was getting a bit too flirty for his taste, or so he believed.

In the ensuing scuffle, Sofia’s dress was pulled, exposing her breasts, as we also reported at the time. The actress did not address the incident publicly.
