Now supporting T-Mobile Dash and Samsung Blackjack

SlingPlayer Mobile Smartphone v.1.0.5 and Pocket PC v.1.1 editions are now available and now have support for two other smartphones, T-Mobile Dash/HTC Excalibur and Samsung BlackJack, aside from the ones it was available for before, including Motorola Q, T-Mobile SDA/HTC Tornado Tempo and i-mate SP5m.

The list of Pocket PC compatible devices includes Hp iPAQs, Palm Treos, HTC Apache, HTC TyTN and others. Symbian and Palm OS editions of SlingPlayer Mobile have already been announced, are currently in development and bound to be released very soon. SlingMedia 's mobile software is also among 3's X-series features and will be available on Nokia N73 and Sony Ericsson W950.

SlingPlayer Mobile allows Slingbox users to control their home TV with their Windows Mobile powered smartphone or PDA, as well as watch whatever is on TV at that moment or change the channel, even if they are far away from home. Those who have bought and registered a Slingbox, before April 26th 2006 will receive a free copy of the software. If that is not the case, the software can be purchased for $29.
