have already been announced, are currently in development and bound to be released very soon. SlingMedia 's mobile software is also among 3's X-series features and will be available on Nokia N73 and Sony Ericsson W950.

SlingPlayer Mobile allows Slingbox users to control their home TV with their Windows Mobile powered smartphone or PDA, as well as watch whatever is on TV at that moment or change the channel, even if they are far away from home. Those who have bought and registered a Slingbox, before April 26th 2006 will receive a free copy of the software. If that is not the case, the software can be purchased for $29.

"With SlingPlayer Mobile, we continue to make it easier to extend your living room TV experience to wherever you happen to be and ensure that you never miss that pivotal play or big news event and that you always know the score."
