Sir, You Are Being Hunted is yet another game that will make its official debut on Linux and other platforms, with the help of Kickstarter.

Sir, You Are Being Hunted is a first-person shooter developed the Big Robot studio. According to the developer, it's a game of desperate survival in a world where mechanical aristocrats hunt humans for sport.

The heart of the game is something called The British Countryside Generator, a procedural engine that ensures that every player who starts the game will be able to enjoy a unique experience.

The game takes place on a few islands and they can be generated in a matter of seconds, using highly detailed environments.

Even though it's a first-person shooter, the game is not about fighting, at least most of the time. The goal of the player is to survive, and this can only be achieved if Sir, You Are Being Hunted is treated more as a puzzle, than a shooter.

Sir, You Are Being Hunted includes many features, such as the procedural tools to generate, save, and explore your own landscapes, open-ended gameplay, unique generative soundtrack, no DRM (digital rights management), and of course a Linux version.

The money gathered with Kickstarter will help the team enlist the services of a full-time artist, which will provide the art and the animation required for such a large project.
