A new phone model, part of the Signature line of handset has just been released by Vertu, the luxury mobile phone producing other personality of Nokia. The device follows the trend that this company has gotten us used to see coming from them, combining precious metals and stones with evolved technology.

Vertu has always given more consideration to the design aspect of its mobile phone offer. The producer usually cares less on the performances that its mobile phones are capable of offering and looks to make them attractive through the amount of bling-bling that they manage to put on its surface.

The Vertu Signature Black & White Diamonds line of mobile phones features 644 brilliant cut white diamonds and 428 brilliant cut black diamonds, which are encrusted into the case and keys of the device. Just imagine them counting as to place precisely 428 diamonds on each handset that they produce, not one more or less. It's this kind of precision and interest in the detail's value that brought Vertu the acknowledging of its value throughout time.

If the phone's specifications are anything like the others seen until now in the Signature special edition, it should also come in some huge sizes of 122 x 42 x 15.5 mm and a weight of about 200 grams. It's the diamonds that burden it this much, which must explain why this comes in larger sizes than any other normal devices.

Moreover, it should also mean that there is no 3G connectivity and nothing more evolved than a modem support. Other than that, the device should not be capable of anything more than what low end devices usually bring.

The downside of this comes from the fact that such handsets usually come for huge prices, just as this Signature Black & White Diamonds will too. The secret is in the diamonds, which prove to be the best friends of many wealthy people. After all, who would say no to having 428 shiny friends in his pocket?
