In the last couple of months, Sharkoon has introduced quite a large number of entry-level PC cases and this list just got longer as the company has recently unveiled the Vaya, a value ATX mid-tower chassis priced at just around $35.

Made entirely out of SECC steel and ABS plastic, the Vaya uses an inverted design, which places the power supply unit at the bottom of the case in order to improve air circulation throughout the chassis.

Moving to the inside of the case, even though Sharkoon hasn't introduced any fancy features like anti-vibration mounts or fan dust filters, we find that the Vaya features an all black interior as well as a CPU socket cutout.

This latest feature can prove to be extremely helpful when installing high-performance processors coolers, as removing the motherboard from the system in order to connect the backplate is no longer required.

The Vaya comes pre-fitted with a single 120mm red-illuminated fan, but three more 120mm fans can be installed if the user desires it. Two of these will go on the side panel, while the third can be placed in the back of the chassis.

Liquid cooling is also supported as the case sports a pair of holes for water-cooling tubes.

As far as storage options are concerned, the Sharkoon Vaya provides room for up to four 5.25-inch optical drives, one external 3.5-inch bay as well as four other drive bays for 3.25-inch hard drives. All these use a tool-less mounting system.

The front panel provides two USB 2.0 ports and a pair of audio jacks, so no advanced features such as USB 3.0 support were implemented.

The Sharkoon Vaya mid-tower case is available for purchase right now with prices starting at $35 US. In Europe this retails for about €25. (via TechPowerUp)
