Game engine creators Trinigy, the ones behind the recently released Vision Engine 7, announced that Ubisoft's Blue Byte studio (those who brought us the great titles in the Settlers series) having signed a deal which would allow them to use the engine for upcoming titles. Unfortunately, no details regarding the deal were shared.

However, it is always enjoyable to hear that one of the gaming pioneers, 1988-founded Blue Byte plan to bring us even more quality titles (according to the company's data, over 10 million copies of their games were sold all over the world during the last 20 years). We truly hope that another "old school" Settlers title will be developed in the future, even though we wouldn't mind if another Ugh title hit the stands - we need some of the fun of the 90s back!

"Blue Byte is a highly renowned studio and we are delighted to welcome them as a customer," points out Dag Frommhold, Managing Partner at Trinigy. "We are proud to support their team with our technology." Dietmar Meschede, Head of Programming at Blue Byte also said, "We have been evaluating multiple technologies. Trinigy's Vision Engine and their outstanding support convinced us all along the line. They are a perfect fit for us".

Let's just hope this perfect fit will have as a result perfect games which will be detailed as soon as possible and Trinigy will prove once again that their engines are ready to bring us the ultimate gaming experiences. The firm is an independent manufacturer which provides the technology behind titles produced by top companies such as Firefly, Take 2, Neowiz, Zed Group, dtp Entertainment and Spellbound; thus, it can be used on the major gaming platforms of the moment.
