Keanu Reeves comforted Sandra Bullock after the split from Jesse James, says report

They’ve been good friends ever since they worked together for the first time in “Speed,” but a new report suggests there might be more to Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves’ relationship, especially after her marriage to Jesse James fell apart.

As fans must surely know by now, after the cheating scandal died down a bit, word came out that Jesse James would be coming out with a tell-all book, which Sandra feared would put her personal life on display, making her a laughing stock.

“American Outlaw” by Jesse James is out in stores starting today, May 3 and, while there’s no word yet on how much personal information on Sandra or his marriage to her the book may contain, it did at least bring the Oscar-winning actress and Keanu closer than ever.

At least, that’s what the National Enquirer claims, which stops short of saying the two may be dating, but drops enough hints for the reader to get that message (story via here).

“Keanu was her rock. Keanu spoke to her for hours, night after night, listening to her worries, as she poured out her heart over her frustration and pain,” an unnamed source claiming to be a friend of Sandra’s tells the tab of how the actress turned to Keanu in her darkest hour.

“And in the end Keanu gave Sandra the courage to move on and hold her head high. He basically told her Jesse’s cooked-up stories were just that. He soothingly reminded her that she really had nothing to fear because she was respected by everyone close to her including him,” the spy adds.

“He assured Sandra he’d always be there for her… After Jesse’s cheating scandal erupted, Keanu became Sandra’s shoulder to cry on,” the insider claims.

Keanu and Sandra have always been great friends, but the scandal, the divorce and everything that followed afterwards only made them come closer together.

Sandra knows now that she has a very good friend by her side in Keanu, the spy concludes by saying.
