The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has approved the PocketPC Phone Samsung SGH-i750, that has been showed last year at the ?communicAsia" trade show.

The tri-band GSM (900 / 1800 /1900) runs on Windows Mobile for Pocket PC Phones operating system, but unfortunately it is the old 2003 SE version. Nevertheless it seems that users will be able to make an update of the system to Windows Mobile 5.0. Samsung SGH-i750 features the same design as the SGH-i730 except that it has only a numeric keypad instead of a QWERTY keyboard.

The slider phone contains all the Microsoft office applications, a fully functional HTML Internet browser and an email client. In addition, the SGH-i750 features a powerful 2 Megapixel camera with a built in flash and capture capabilities, a colorful QVGA 240 x 320 pixels touch display with 65k colors.

It also has USB, Infrared, Bluetooth 1.2 and Wi-Fi connectivity, and expandable memory through its microSD card slot.

We don't know when the device will hit the market, because there is no word on pricing and availability for the moment.
