VoiceIndigo announced a worldwide partnership with Samsung to deliver podcasting to Samsung mobile phones. Samsung Mobile Podcasts by VoiceIndigo will be pre-loaded on Samsung mobile phones, starting with the dual face phone Samsung UpStage, currently available from Sprint.

VoiceIndigo is the first ad-supported Podcasting service to ship bundled on a phone from a major handset manufacturer
and a major carrier in the U.S. Samsung Mobile Podcasts makes listening to podcasts as easy as listening to the radio. Podcasts categories include sports, comedy, entertainment, news, business, and music.

"Samsung Mobile Podcasts puts the consumer back in control by making it easy to obtain personally relevant and compelling programming on the go, from thousands of major content providers," said John Mayerhofer, CEO of VoiceIndigo.

VoiceIndigo is a free service that makes it simple for listeners to manage their podcasts via a simple web interface accessible here and access them through a wide variety of devices such as mobile phones and PCs. This means that when users upgrade their handsets, they do not need to reconfigure their content, as their preferences and content choices are automatically synchronized to the new phone.

VoiceIndigo's service empowers brands to connect with consumers and conduct transactions via click-to-call, click-to-request, and click-to-buy, and allows advertisers to accurately measure the success of their adspend. For content providers, VoiceIndigo makes it easy to achieve massive reach, providing them with a value added revenue model and increased knowledge of their customers. VoiceIndigo's solution enables the economical delivery of digital audio over mobile networks through advanced digital audio processing and provides Mobile Service Operators with a business model built around open media that generates significant incremental revenue.
