Samsung decided to make the Series 7 Gaming Laptop more appealing to young people and ladies, but instead of going for pink or blue it has chosen bright yellow as the theme color.

Yellow laptops aren't overly common, even among those product lines that make a point of offering more case color options than usual.

That didn't stop Samsung from taking the Series 7 Gaming Machine and painting it in a bright yellow.

The notebook was originally unveiled back in November, 2011 and had a black chassis.

The new one is apparently trying to brighten the life of whoever buys it.

What's more, Samsung used the Glass Flake coating, which increases the durability of the machine, so that it may keep up with the active lifestyle of youth.

That said, the specifications of the notebook haven't changed otherwise, and neither have the prices.

The version of the Samsung Series 7 mobile PC equipped with a 'common' display sells for 2,570,000 won ($2,228 / 1762 Euro) while a 3D screen will drive the figure to 2,810,000 won ($2,437 / 1,920 Euro).

Samsung chose an Intel Core i7 central processing unit at the heart of the laptop.

Said CPU is backed up by 8GB-16GB of DDR3 RAM and the AMD Radeon HD 6970M discrete graphics solution.

The CPU may possess the Intel GMA HD but, as it has already been said on numerous occasions, that integrated graphics can do little besides basic computing, browsing and media playback.

Moving on, a 17.3-inch display is present (with or without 3D, as already mentioned). Its resolution is 1,920 x 1,080 pixels.

Other specs include Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet, audio ports, USB 2.0 and 3.0 connectors, a HDD of up to 2TB, etc.

Finally, the keyboard has LED backlighting (for visibility even in the dark) and a 2.1 speaker system, plus a knob that permits switching between multiple power ports.
