We already spoke about a certain all-in-one PC that Samsung had created, but only now has the company actually made the official introduction of the Series 7.

Last week, some may have run into this particular piece of news, which details the newest all-in-one PC to leave Samsung's labs.

The 23-inch machine has now been formally released, although shipments will only begin on October 10, 2011 (next month, in other words).

Measuring 23 inches, the desktop relies on the Intel Core i3-2120T central processing unit (CPU), whose clock speed is 2.6 GHz.

6 GB of DDR3 RAM (random access memory) back up that chip.

Buyers can go a bit higher than that, though, to a 2.7 GHz Core i5-2390T processor and 8 GB of DDR3 memory.

In that order, the items are slated to sell for $999 (749.60 Euro) and $1,199 (899.67 Euro).

The rest of the specifications are the same on both machines, from the 1 TB hard disk drives (7,200 RPM speeds) to the slot-in ODD (optical disk drive) and the pair of 4W Harman Kardon speakers.

Furthermore, Samsung threw in a USB 3.0 connector, four USB 2.0 ports, Bluetooth 3.0, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet and a 1.3 megapixel webcam.

All these parts are crammed inside the base of the product, leaving the 23-inch, Full HD touchscreen display (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) to stand on its own, LED backlights and all.

“Samsung's new all-in-one PC provides all of the benefits of a full-sized desktop computer without the cumbersome tower and wires often associated with that form factor,” said Scott Ledterman, director of mobile PC marketing at Samsung Enterprise Business Division.

“It's an ideal choice for consumers looking to upgrade their PC, as it will provide them with the latest technology while freeing up valuable desk space in their home or office setup.”
