Samsung has just unveiled their SCH-B710 phone model for the Korean market. The handset has been announced for some time now only for the Asian grounds, but little details have emerged from that point on.

Samsung SCH-B710 is actually a dual DMB phone model. What sets it apart from other handsets is the fact that it is capable of supporting up to 35 channels of S-DMB and 18 channels of T-DMB. That makes a total of more than 50 channels which can be viewed the mobile way.

One feature which is not all that common among mobile phones is that of picture in picture, which allows the user to focus its attention on two activities at the same time, for example, watching TV and composing an email. Moreover, the design is also rather rare, as it slides circularly, making it extremely easy to use and handle.

There is a 2.2 inch 3D screen for all these. The display size is not going to break any records and could use some upgrading for best performances. Then again, this is a mobile phone, so don't expect wonders when it comes to watching TV on it. Still, the panorama mode might turn out to be useful in many situations for best viewing conditions.

The phone also comes equipped with a 1.3 megapixel camera, which is set at lower end when it comes to performances. That, along with the display screen, could use some upgrading as not to waste all the other performances that Samsung SCH-B710 is capable of. Connectivity is available through Bluetooth and there is also an additional microSD card slot for providing enough memory space.

Samsung SCH-B710 will come in two colors: white and silver. It will be available from now on in Korea for the equivalent of USD 650.
