South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung has released updated flavors of some of the applications that it made available for its Windows Phone users, showing that it is still committed to this OS, although its main focus is on Android.

Owners of Samsung devices powered by Windows Phone can now enjoy the version 3.6.2.2 of Now, along with Music Hub 1.0.0.29, MiniDiary 2.2.3.5 and Photo Editor 1.0.0.437, a post on WPSuperfanboy reads.

Unfortunately, no specific info on what was packed inside the new flavors of these apps has been provided, but allaboutwindowsphone suggests that there should be mainly bug fixes and performance enhancements.

Furthermore, the news site notes that the updated apps might be a sign that Samsung is preparing the release of new Windows Phone 8 devices, such as the Samsung SCH-R860U that was spotted at the FCC last week en route to US Cellular.
