The company describes it as the most curved display ever

LG may have been the first to preview, willingly or not, its CES 2014-bound ultra-widescreen displays, but Samsung has just one-upped it with something well outside the league of 34-Inch and 29-Inch UltraWide monitors.

More specifically, the company has prepared a television set featuring an ultra-widescreen resolution of 5120 x 2160 pixels and a diagonal of 105 inches.

Those two assets alone would have been enough to draw visitors like moths to a flame, once CES 2014 actually rolled around, in January (Las Vegas, Nevada).

Samsung didn't think it would be overkill enough though, so it also made the display curved. “The world's most curved” were its exact words actually, according to some.

The upcoming Consumer Electronics Show will have lots of oversized panels on show, just like IFA 2013 did back in September. Many of them will feature this 21:9 aspect ratio, because 3D and 4K resolution have already taken their turns at being the focus of the display industry.
