New Mobile TV broadcasting system

Imagine you're in a place where there aren't any TVs, or radio. Wouldn't it be great to have a mobile phone that can broadcast your favorite movie in real time?

There has been discovered a new and innovative technology that enables portable and TV digital broadcasting to any mobile phone owner. The most amazing thing is that almost anyone can afford the system as it has quite a low price. It uses the broadcaster's existing facilities and frequency spectrum.

Samsung is one of the leaders in the mobile communication industry. The company performed a live demonstration with its handheld devices at an international Consumer Electronics Show that simply blew off the expectations of any member of the National Association of Broadcasters.

The demonstration was a successful one for Samsung. It clearly revealed how easily an A-VSB mode can use half of the broadcasting bandwidth and the power of A-VSB's Single Frequency Network (SFN) tool for the first time.

Advanced (A-VSB) system is the proposed standard that broadcasters can implement at the lowest cost. They provide a new distribution channel that offers live TV to consumers directly on the go as they use their own portable devices, whether traveling by car to work, by bus to the gym or walking down the streets with friends.

The system was developed after a partnership between Samsung Electronics and Rohde & Schwarz. The system was implemented by the Advanced Television Systems committee (ATSC). "Delivering mobile TV to consumers is critical to broadcasters and advertisers alike," said Brandon Burgess, President and CEO of ION Media Networks.

A question still remains: Will this system actually replace existing media in the next future since it provides TV and information?
