Shortly after silently launching the Galaxy Win in China, Samsung officially unveiled two more Android smartphones, the Galaxy Trend II and Galaxy Trend Duos II.

Both smartphones are now listed on Samsung China’s official site, which means that the devices will initially go on sale in the Mainland.

We’re still waiting for an official statement from Samsung, but it’s unclear if the South Korean handset maker plans to make these devices available outside China as well.

Samsung Galaxy Trend II and Galaxy Trend Duos II are mid-range smartphones powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box.

Unlike the Galaxy Win, which packs a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, these devices will be equipped with 1.2GHz dual-core processors.

Unfortunately, there’s no word on the amount of internal memory and RAM, but both handsets have been confirmed to come packed with microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

The only difference between the two Galaxy Trend II phones is the fact that the Galaxy Trend Duos II offers dual-SIM capability (CDMA / GSM) with dual standby.

Furthermore, the newly announced smartphones sport 4.0-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen displays that support 480 x 800 pixels resolution and 16 million colors.

On the back, they pack 3-megapixel photo snappers with video recording, but without LED flash and autofocus. There’s no secondary front-facing camera either.

Other highlights of the phones include: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, HSDPA (7.2Mbps) and HSUPA (5.76Mbps) support (only for Galaxy Trend Duos II), microUSB 2.0, as well as SamsungApps and ChatON.

Last but not least, the smartphones are powered by 1,500 mAh Li-Ion batteries, which have yet to be rated by the manufacturer.

We suspect that Samsung will launch both Galaxy Trend II and Galaxy Trend Duos II at various carriers in the country. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
