As we reported earlier, Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1 ultra-thin tablet is making its way into T-Mobile USA's portfolio of high-speed devices.

Although the carrier confirmed the tablet “in time for the holidays,” a recent leak from the folks over at TmoNews indicate that the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is expected to arrive in stores on October 26.

Along with the Galaxy Tab 10.1, the carrier also announced the 7-inch T-Mobile SpringBoard tablet manufactured by Huawei.

The 4G-enabled tablet is delivered with a 10.1-inch HD capacitive touchsceen display with 16 million colors and 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, which offers users a wide-screen viewing experience.

Galaxy Tab 10.1 is among the slimmest tablets available on the market at only 8.6mm. In addition, the slate measures 256.7 x 175.3mm and weighs only 1.24 pounds (565g, battery included).

The tablet is equipped with a 1 GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and an ULP GeForce graphics processing unit, allowing for a smoother gaming experience, multitask and seamless Web browsing.

With Honeycomb 3.2 operating system and full Adobe Flash Player support, users can nagivate rich Web content without worries.

Furthermore, several applications and services come pre-installed on the Galaxy Tab 10.1, including T-Mobile TV, Qello, Samsung Media Hub, Asphalt 6: Adrenaline HD demo, SIM City Deluxe demo, Blio eReader and Zinio.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G packs 16GB/32GB of internal memory and 1GB of RAM, but lacks a microSD card slot for memory expansion.

Additionally, the tablet sports a 3-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, as well as a secondary 2-megapixel front facing camera for video calls.
