Shortly after Mobilicity introduced the Samsung Galaxy Q, regional carrier WIND Mobile made the same move. Customers can grab the smartphone for free on WINDTab on both the $25 CAD and $40 CAD monthly plans.

Those who want to avoid being tied by a long term contract can purchase the Samsung Galaxy Q for $199 CAD outright. This is the same deal offered by Mobilicity.

Samsung Galaxy Q is aimed at customers who are looking for a reliable messaging phone, but who also want to be able to take advantage of all the features offered by Google's Android platform.

The phone's main selling points are the full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, as well as the fact that it's powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.

It is also worth mentioning that the smartphone sports a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display (320 x 480 pixels), microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB), HSDPA (7.2Mbps) support, as well as a 3-megapixel rear camera and WiFi. Check it out here.
