South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics is gearing up for the release of a successor for its Galaxy Ace handset. Today, the first rendering with the upcoming device, called Galaxy Ace Plus, has emerged online.

The handset is expected to arrive on shelves with a faster application processor and with higher amount of RAM, yet no specific info on its hardware specifications has emerged so far.

One thing that is certain on the new mobile phone, however, is the fact that it will arrive on shelves with design changes when compared to the predecessor, at least this is what the photo available courtesy of sammyhub shows.

The Galaxy Ace Plus will be a bit more rounded when launched, something that should happen either at CES or at MWC. The mobile phone’s camera was repositioned, and the battery cover modified as well, it seems. However, Android will still power it.
