We've already talked about one of the most interesting 3D Blu-ray offerings from Samsung, the super-slim BD-D7500 model, but that wasn't by any means the only such product displayed by the Korean company at the Las Vegas event, since they've actually unveiled a whole new lineup of high-end 3D Blu-ray players.

First and foremost, we'll have to point out that all of the models comprising Samsung's lineup, namely the BD-D7000, BD-D6700 and BD-D6500, offer 3D Blu-ray playback support, matching the numerous 3D HDTVs the company had in store for CES 2011.

Another interesting feature provided by the new Samsung 3D Blu-ray players is the new patented One Foot Connection feature, that makes wireless setup easier than ever (in fact, users only have to bring the Blu-ray player in the close proximity of the Samsung wireless router in order to establish a network connection, no further operations being required and the connection being maintained throughout the home).

The first model we'll detail as follows, namely the BD-D7000, includes a hidden slot for disc loading that pops up from the center of the unit, as well as 2D-to-3D conversion, full HD up-conversion, Ultra Fast Play, integrated Wi-Fi, Smart Blu-ray features and a single HDMI output, making it quite similar to the top-range BD-D7500.

Next in line comes the D-D6700 3D Blu-ray player, that features two HDMI ports, thus being able to deliver both advanced 3D (HDMI 1.4) and 7.1 channel surround sound audio features through legacy AV receivers (HDMI 1.3).

Moreover, the BD-D6700 packs most of the features and functions offered by the BD-D7000, and users can also control it directly from their iOS or Android devices by downloading a special, dedicated app.

Last, but certainly not least, comes the BD-D6500, that ditches 2D-to-3D upconversion, but still offers 3D playback and the rest of the features common throughout the entire range of Samsung 3D BD players.

Sadly, pricing and availability details are not available, but we'll provide them as soon as we manage to find out more on these topics.

I wonder if Samsung included the 3D Checkerboard pattern in these 2011 3D players for all those 3D-Ready DLP TVs they sold just a few years ago. They advertised their 3D-Ready DLPs as such, "3D HD ready—Future-proof your HD experience". The 2010 Sammy Blu-ray 3D players did not include the pattern. HOWEVER, Panasonic 3D players did, and that is what I bought, a DBP-BDT350! I have had enough of Samsung's lame excuses!
