Korean handset manufacturer Samsung has just announced the release of its candybar feature-phone Samsung C3530 in Russia. Even though it's a low-budget handset, the C3530 features a premium build, thanks to the high-quality materials that the manufacturer has used.

Besides its smooth, polished case and elegant look, the back cover of the phone is made of brushed metal, so the phone is protected from accidental drops.

Mainly targeting users who are constantly communicating on social networks, Samsung C3530 features advanced SNS (social network services) functionality.

The stylish bar phone is equipped with a wide range of useful applications and provides convenient access to services such as Facebook and Twitter, as well as messaging services GoogleTalk, AIM, Parlingo IM.

According to Samsung, thanks to the phone's improved UI, users will receive important Facebook and Twitter notifications instantly through the automatic page update feature. Also, frequently used applications and contacts will be easily found by using special tags and links.

Moreover, the handset can prove a great option for those fond of listening to music on their phones, as it packs both a MP3 player and FM radio.

Samsung C3530 also includes a 3.2-megapixel photo snapper without flash and a 3.5mm audio jack port.

Other key features of the handset include: 2.2-inch TFT QVGA display with 320 x 240 pixels resolution, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP support, 50MB internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 16GB).

The phone will be available on the Russian market starting this week at an estimated retail price of 5,990 rubles (about $191).

The C3530 follows last week‘s official release of the Samsung E2530 clamshell, which is cheaper, selling for 3,990 rubles (about $125).

Currently, Russian users can only purchase the Samsung C3530, as availability for the E2530 is yet to be officially announced.
