The biggest massively multiplayer online game of them all, World of Warcraft, is finally going to receive its already announced new language, Russian, on the 6th of August this year. Starting that day, people who live in Eastern Europe will be able
to purchase the localized version of the game and its Burning Crusade expansion and begin playing on dedicated realms that will have a Russian-speaking customer support team. This is the fifth European language version of the game, complementing the already implemented English, French, German and Spanish.

With this new addition, Russian players will be able to subscribe to a dedicated Russian account, which has a reduced subscription-rate structure for the Russian market priced in rubles, thus allowing players to access and create characters on Russian realms only. The available subscription options are a month-to-month, a three-month and a six-month plan.

"The launch of the Russian-language version reflects our continuing commitment to make World of Warcraft even more accessible for gamers throughout the world," said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. "We also hope that providing a fully localised version of the game will further enhance the gameplay experience for our enthusiastic Russian community."

Current WoW players will be able to download the Russian language pack for free from the official website of the game, and all the options of a new account will be available for them. Also, starting with the launch date, free character transfers to specific Russian realms will be available for a limited period of time. Additionally, any European account will have the option to be converted into a Russian one.

All in all, these things mean that August will be a happy month for everybody, especially for the Russian fans of the MMO. Also, since the number of players keeps growing by the day, Blizzard is planning to hire more people, so if you're interested in working for the parent of the biggest MMORPG in the world, visit its official website.
