By: Filip Truta, Apple News Editor

Anawiki Games has recently announced the availability of its latest puzzle title. Runes of Avalon 2 combines Bejeweled color matching with a few of Tetris-like gameplay features. A demo of the game is already available for Mac. The full version is priced at $19.99.

As Evelyne, the Protector of Avalon, you must make your way through over 100 challenging levels. Image puzzles, and bonus games are also part of Runes of Avalon 2. Players take a fantastic journey through a magical world as they match the runes to help Evelyne fulfill her mission and find her way home.

Welcome to the once glorious empire of Avalon, now clouded by the darkness of the evil Morganna’s spells. After defeating Morganna in an intense magical battle, Evelyne, the protector of Avalon, must now cleanse Avalon from the dark curse with her Rune Magic. With three game modes and some unexpected twists, Runes of Avalon 2 takes you to an enchanting world of magic and mystery you won’t want to leave - the game's plot goes.

So here's the full breakdown: 100 great levels, Amulet of Spells with 4 new spells and 6 power-ups, 10 new enchanting images to reveal, great visuals and animation
JigSaw mini-game, cast spells for bigger and better matches.

System requirements call for CPU 600 Mhz, RAM: 256 MB.

The game demo has been made available for Mac, Windows and Linux. Here's the version you're interested in. The full version of Runes of Avalon is priced at $19.99. The game is available for purchase at Anawiki's website.

But since you're a Mac owner and a gamer, we must also remind you that the long awaited, face-lifted, Mac original Dark Castle game, Return to Dark Castle, is now available for 30 bucks on its publisher's web site.
