Victoria’s Secret Angel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is getting ready for her transition from the catwalk to the big screen. To make the celebration complete, she’s also just landed her first ever Vogue UK cover – and she’s sizzling hot for it.

Dressed in red against a red backdrop and with the reddest shade of lipstick one could ever imagine on her plump lips, Rosie is the very definition of a supermodel on the cover.

She’s gracious, she’s drop-dead gorgeous, she’s delicate and, at the same time, she’s also very sensual, in a way in which ‘90s supermodels were, word online has it.

Inside the magazine comes a picture editorial that is bound to set hearts racing, with Rosie dressed in a very revealing red gown, wearing even redder lipstick and soaking wet for most of the shots.

“Rosie Huntington-Whiteley just nabbed her first British Vogue cover, posing for the glossy’s March issue,” the Huffington Post notes.

No word yet whether the photospread will also come with an interview but, since Rosie has “Transformers” to promote, it probably will.

“The Victoria’s Secret model-turned-‘Transformers 3’ star previously shared a month’s worth of outfits with Vogue UK and bagged a group cover alongside Jourdan Dunn and Eden Clark in November 2008, but with everything Rosie has going on these days, it’s certainly her time to shine,” the e-zine further writes.

The photos were snapped by prestigious fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, though with a model like Rosie, it would be hard to imagine anyone could take a bad picture of her.

As noted above, 2011 marks a huge year for Rosie, as she’s about to have her acting skills judged by “Transformers” fans, since she replaced Megan Fox for “The Dark of the Moon” after a presumed fight the actress had with director Michael bay.

The Vogue UK issue Rosie Huntington-Whiteley with will be out on newsstands later this month.
