It looks like those who decided to pre-order the HTC One at Rogers took the right decision, as the carrier has started to ship the smartphone to customers who reserved their devices.

According to MobileSyrup, Rogers began shipping HTC One pre-orders on April 12, but advised its customers they should allow up to 5 business days for the delivery to reach them.

Even so, it’s clear that customers who pre-ordered the smartphone from Rogers will receive it before the device gets launched on the Canadian market.

For those unaware, HTC One has been confirmed to arrive at Rogers, TELUS, Bell and Virgin Mobile on April 19, so there’s plenty of time for shipped pre-orders to reach their destinations.

Rogers has already priced the HTC One at $150/€110 with new three-year agreements or $650/€490 outright. Keep in mind that this price is only for the 32GB model, as the 64GB variant has yet to be announced in Canada.

For the time being, the only carrier in North America to confirm the upcoming availability of the 64GB HTC One is US-based carrier AT&T. In fact, AT&T has exclusivity over this version of HTC One, so it will be the only operator to offer it in the United States.

Back on Rogers HTC One, the smartphone will ship with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, but it will receive an Android 4.2 update at some point.

As we already mentioned earlier, it packs 32GB of internal memory and lacks microSD card slot for memory expansion.

However, it does come with one of the most powerful processors available on the market, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600 clocked at 1.7GHz.

Another strong point of the phone is the (in)famous 4-Ultrapixel rear-facing camera featuring autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording.

The smartphone also sports a stunning 4.7-inch Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 2 coating.
