14 DAY TRIAL // “Twilight” co-stars and good friends Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are finally ready to admit there is something more to their relationship than just the platonic side they’ve insisted on so far. The two actors will admit that they’re dating in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar that will also run an amazing photospread with them, sources say for InTouch Weekly.
This could very well be a case of just a rumor that is blown out of proportion, several US publications are already rushing to tell fans but, for what it’s worth, it could very well have some truth to it for the simple reason that it names a prestigious magazine like Harper’s Bazaar. After all, it is being said, if InTouch did not have good knowledge that Pattinson and Stewart were to do an interview with Harper’s, would it still run a story saying that they did?
“Rob and Kristen were relatively open about their relationship,” InTouch says of the two actors. Because they’ve grown tired of the things that are constantly written in the media about them, they have decided to come clean with the tell-all interview, the mag further explains. The interview, as noted above, will accompany a photospread and will be printed in the December issue, when all promotion for “New Moon,” the second “Twilight” installment, is over.
If true, this report would come to confirm earlier allegations that the two actors had long thought of going public with their relationship for the simple reason that they saw no use in hiding it anymore but that Summit, the studio behind the “Twilight” franchise, had specifically forbidden them to do so. Pattinson was admittedly the one who had taken the warning from Summit the hardest, already plotting a way to have things out in the open without getting studio bosses angry with him.
“The producers took Rob and Kris aside and told them to keep their relationship under wraps for a few more months. But they’re so much in love, they can’t keep their hands off each other. They’re crazy about each other, and they want to shout it from the rooftops. But they’re also part of this massive machine called Twilight and producers have this thing timed with scientific precision. They don’t want Rob and Kristen to tell the world about their relationship until the time is right. […] He generally does what he’s told by producers, but this kid has a strong will of his own, and if he wants to walk around Vancouver with Kristen in front of the world, he’s going to.” a source was telling the media at the time.
