14 DAY TRIAL // Cristina Ricci and “Twilight” heartthrob Robert Pattinson have been working together on a silver screen adaptation of “Bel Ami.” For those curious, yes, the two do get to lock lips and, Ricci says, Rob is quite outstanding at it.
In 2011, Twi-hards will be seeing RPatz in yet another adaptation of a book, though this time he won’t sparkle in the sun and he certainly won’t be tempted to bite into people’s necks.
Pattinson, Cristina Ricci and Uma Thurman will appear in “Bel Ami,” based on Guy de Maupassant’s novel of the same name. In it, as fans must already know, Rob takes on the role of a player, to put it delicately.
As such, he and Cristina got to lock lips on set more than once and, from what she’s saying in a recent interview cited by PopSugar, he’s quite good at it.
“Um yeah – he is pretty much awesome,” Ricci says of Robert’s kissing skills. “He’s just great. We’d just make fun of each other the whole time, like ‘oh my god we’re so goofy’ or ‘my accent is so bad!’” she adds of working with him.
In fact, the entire experience was a unique one, the diminutive actress explains, because, first and foremost, she got to work with wonderful, talented people. Secondly, the costumes were pretty amazing too.
“It was really fun, I mean just aesthetically we wore amazing costumes and hair and make up was great. And working with Rob was amazing. He’s such a great guy, so talented,” Cristina says.
Even more, Ricci even got to meet Kristen Stewart, who actually came down on the set a few times to see and talk to Robert.
Though she doesn’t go into the specifics of the visit, one can easily imagine how rumors of the so-called romance between the two “Twilight” stars will pick up the following days.
Not that the public and media interest in Pattinson amazes Cristina anymore, she says.
“I understand where they’re coming from. He’s an awesome human being. He’s so funny and quirky and weird,” she says of Twi-hards’ love for Robert.
