14 DAY TRIAL // Late last year, word got out that heartthrob Orlando Bloom and gorgeous Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr, who had been dating for quite some time, were believed to have become engaged. Sadly, it was just another rumor, like many others before regarding their status. This time, it’s the real deal, E! Online has learned from a representative for the couple.
The two lovebirds are about to make their romance official, the publicist confirms: they are engaged. Details of the wedding have not yet been made public but it’s a given that, after 3 years of going out (and literally making for one of the best looking couples in showbiz), Orlando has finally put a ring on it. On Miranda’s finger, that is. Again, more details are expected to emerge in the following days: about the ring, when the question was asked and the nuptials.
“We’ve heard it before. This time, it’s true. After three years of dating, genetic lottery winners Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr are making it official, as the actor’s rep confirms to E! News that the duo is engaged. The pretty couple first hitched their stars to each other back in 2007, the same year Aussie supermodel Kerr became a Victoria’s Secret Angel and Brit Bloom said goodbye to his goatee and made his final outing as a pirate,” E! writes.
“There’s no word yet on how or where the question was popped, but it may have been a very recent development: it was only Friday that a then-ringless Kerr was spotted jetting off to New York. No date has yet been set for the vow swap, which will be the first for both the 27-year-old catwalker and the 33-year-old thesp. But whenever it happens, we’re certain that just like these two lookers, it’ll be a beautiful thing,” the same report further says.
In the past, the two stars’ romance constantly made room to rumors on their future plans, perhaps precisely because both of them are very private and do anything in their power to keep their personal life out of the media. At one point, the tabs were even saying that Kerr was threatening to leave Orlando if he didn’t propose to her, because she was certain he was only having fun with her.
