14 DAY TRIAL // Rockstar has confirmed that its extremely successful Red Dead Redemption will be re-released this fall in the form of a Game of the Year edition for consoles, which includes all the previously launched downloadable content up until now.
Rockstar has published major hits in the last two years, with the recent L.A. Noire and last year's Red Dead Redemption making huge profits for the company.
Now, after deploying a wide array of downloadable content for Red Dead Redemption, including the free Myths and Mavericks pack that went live yesterday, Rockstar has confirmed that a special Game of the Year Edition will be released next month for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
"We wanted to create a world that captured the spirit of the Western," said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games, after revealing that more than 160 Game of the Year awards were won by the title. "We are thrilled that Red Dead Redemption’s vision of the West resonated with so many people."
The Red Dead Redemption: Game of the Year Edition includes the full game and all the free and paid DLC released for the title, including the pre-order bonuses or the story-based add-on Undead Nightmare.
