Canadian mobile phone maker Research In Motion is dreaming of a future in which our smartphones can interact with a wide range of other devices, and enabling us to enjoy far more capabilities and features than simple call making or receiving.

A part of that dream can be seen in the video above (available courtesy of Pocketnow), in which a smartphone is presented as capable of seamlessly interacting with all that enterprise work is all about.

Whether it comes to updating tasks, to entering a conference room and giving a presentations or asking permission for installing a new application, the future smartphones will do it fast, easy and intuitively RIM suggests.

Moreover, the video also shows us that IT specialists with be able to perform a better and easier administration of enterprise devices through more intuitive software that keeps handsets connected at all times with the server.

For the time being, this is only promo material and might never become reality, but it is still capable of making us dream a little more.
