14 DAY TRIAL // Research In Motion and SK Telecom recently announced the launch of the new BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphone in South Korea. With a wide array of high-end features and its compact, elegant design, the BlackBerry Bold 9700 will most likely appeal to both business and regular users. The smartphone provides top functionality, performance and features, all integrated into a dark, chrome frame that gives the device a very elegant look.

Some of the key features of the BlackBerry 9700 include a 2.44” display, full-QWERTY keyboard, a new, innovative, touch-sensitive trackpad, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g), and a 3.2-MP camera with flash and autofocus. The BlackBerry OS 5.0 offers faster JavaScript, CSS processing, as well as email-management capabilities. The smartphone also has a built-in GPS and photo geotagging, and 3.5 mm stereo headset jack. The quad-band device comes with an 8GB memory card and can support up to 32GB. The 1,500 mAh battery offers six hours of talk time and 17 days in standby 3G mode.
The BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphone is expected to be put on sale in May from SK Telecom, but it is already available for pre-order. Research In Motion also announced the availability of the BlackBerry App World on the South Korean market. BlackBerry users will now have the possibility to choose from a large variety of free mobile applications, available for their specific device. BlackBerry App World is now available for download at www.blackberry.com/appworld and can be easily accessed by Wi-Fi, or mobile-phone networks available in South Korea.
Some of the key features of BlackBerry App World include: - Front Page Carousel – BlackBerry App World showcases several applications on its front page carousel, making it easy for users to browse through a select number of featured applications.
