14 DAY TRIAL // Qplaze, in cooperation with mobile operator MegaFon, announced they have started working on a new multiplayer mobile game, 'Age of Heroes Online'. For half a year, access to 'Age of Heroes Online' will be exclusively provided by MegaFon's network on all the Russian Federation's territory. The game will be distributed for free to all MegaFone customers and GPRS traffic costs resulting from playing 'Age of Heroes Online' will be lowered.
'Age of Heroes Online' will be an online RPG-strategy, building on Qplaze's game series 'Age of Heroes'. The action will take place in a fantasy world, with its own history, geography, magic and political situation. Users will be able to choose from five races, each with its own unique skills, characteristics, magic skills and troops.
'Age of Heroes Online' will be a turn-based game, where each user controls one character and his army of a selected race (the hero can only travel with his army). Players will have to fight monsters and enemy armies, carry out quests, find artifacts, improve skills and hire new troops.
The game features a complicated system of relationships, ranging from messages and information exchange to trade and concluding of treaties. Users will be able to join factions, enter alliances, vote for leaders, conduct wars between races and participate in individual battles. Players can build their own cities, mine resources, buy and sell buildings and perform exchange of armies.
Also, in the world of 'Age of Heroes Online,' users will encounter many non-player characters (NPC), such as monsters and heroes, legendary wise men and beautiful princesses. The NPCs will be able to interact with the user's character, give quests and rewards, attack and defend, improve characteristics or just tell needed information.
Thanks to the game's module structure, the world of 'Age of Heroes Online' will not be limited in size, number of players, artifacts and improvements. New features can be added to the game on the run and will affect all players simultaneously.
The release date for 'Age of Heroes Online' is scheduled for the second half of 2007.
