A former developer who worked on Prey 2 at Human Head says that the game his team created was close to being complete and offered a fun experience before a political decision delayed it while another studio took charge.
Jason L. Blair was a narrative designer and writer on the game for six months.
He writes via Twitter that, "It was a lot more than a demo. Prey 2 was a full game. And a crazy fun one. The team was small but you wouldn’t have known it."
He believes that taking Prey 2 away from Human Head was political and petty and that the studio deserved to see the title launched.
At the moment, sources claim that Prey 2 is being worked on at Arkane, the team that created Dishonored, and it seems that launch date is currently set for 2016.
