One of the widows of the 19 firemen killed in a wildfire in Arizona has described receiving a text from her husband before his death.
Juliann Ashcraft recalls her 29-year-old husband, Andrew, sending her a photo for her to grasp the state of the fire. At that time, the flames had not switched direction, trapping the Prescott Granite Mountain Hotshots.
As I mentioned, Ashcraft and 18 other men died near Yarnell as they were battling a wildfire that scorched half of the town.
"He sent a photo of where he was sitting and what the fire looked like for them, at their lunch spot," Juliann explains for "Today."
She had previously sent him a snapshot of their children swimming as he was taking a break.
