MumboJumbo has decided it's time to bring back the polar bears to the Polar Games, so they have created two new games to cheer us up while at work (have I just said that?). The wild, zany bears created by casual games developer have already been met by over 13 million players worldwide according to the statistics and it is possible that even more will enjoy Polar Games 2.

This latest installment of WildTangent's title takes the players from the tropics to the poles, featuring Polar Pool and Polar Golfer: Pineapple Cup. Yes, this means that billiards and golf will no longer be what they used to be - now, we'll get to see and experience the casual and comical take on the genres. In Polar Pool, you will be able to play classics like 8 and 9 ball pool, as well as a new (but not detailed) Power Pool. Multiplayer modes are also available together with the single player mode, where you will be able to unlock different other characters and a variety of tables.

Polar Golfer: Pineapple Cup takes golf to a new level with its 9- and 18-hole courses - from tropical fairways to all new natural disasters and hazards. But nothing you should worry about, since all that matters here is the fun! Players will be able to control one of the eight available characters, including Walrus, Gopher and Santa and new characters Hula Girl and Tiki Guy.

We're very proud to bring Polar Games 2 to retailers nationwide - both Polar Golfer Pineapple Cup and Polar Pool bring challenging and comical content to the 13 million fans of the original," said Mark Cottam, CEO of MumboJumbo.

Polar Games 2 is rated E for Everyone with a descriptor for "Comic Mischief" and is on sale at retailers for $19.99, but we're really sure it will soon be available for purchase online.
