Nintendo has announced that Pokemon Black & White will be coming to the Japanese market on September 18 and that players in North America and in Europe might get it in early 2011 and now the publisher is offering more information on the new title, the first in quite some time to introduce original content to the series.

Images have been leaked from a Japanese gaming magazine called CoroCoro that show a new feature of Pokemon Black & White, called Live Caster, which allows players who have a camera on their handheld to engage in video chat. The new system can accommodate four players when a local wireless connection is used and two when Wi-Fi is engaged.

The new Pokemon video game is also set to have a Pass By system that is said to be similar to the one feature on the recent Dragon Quest IX from Square Enix. The idea is that players who are gaming as they walk along other players will be able to use the C Gear to exchange information between the two console and get certain as yet undetailed advantages inside Pokemon Black & White.

The game is also set to get a new cooperative mode called High Link. Both version of the game will have a quest hub located somewhere in the game world of the Isshu region and players will be able to explore it and then team up with other gamers in order to get through battles and challenges.

Pokemon Black & White will probably be a bigger launch that the previous Soul Silver and Heart Gold in Japan, mainly because it introduces new characters that can be collected and because the game world has new areas. The game also introduces a new look to the series, one which aims to offer some three dimensional features to the Pokemon and their handlers.
