Sony has revealed a few more details about the special PlayStation 4 Camera that's being bundled with the new home console, confirming that the device can detect voice commands and supports facial recognition.

The PlayStation 4 camera is being sold separately from the actual PS4 by Sony, as to not increase the price of the standard console bundle.

While the device was showcased in photos, actual details about its performance are lacking.

During the recent GameStop Expo, however, Sony apparently shared a few new things with attendants, confirming that the PlayStation Camera supports navigational voice commands and facial recognition.

According to a statement sent to Polygon, more details will be shared in the near future as we get closer to the release of the PS4 on November 15 in North America, and November 29 in Europe.
