In the console war that is close to dividing the entire world into 2 factions: the Xboxers and the Playstationers, every bit of exclusive content counts as a small step towards one or another's victory. And sometimes the developer's affinity towards a specific gaming console seems funny enough to make you seriously think if this war really worths all the hype that's surrounding it.

One of the latest exclusive that could be translated as "advantage PS3", but far from "game, set and match" comes from 2K Sports' new tennis title - Top Spin 3 - a great, exciting game nevertheless, that allows you control some of the top tennis players in the world, plus Anna Kournikova. Still, it seems that, in order to really be able to control all these great players, you need a specific console.

Following 2K Sports' lineup announcement for Top Spin 3, we find out that one of the greatest tennis players in the world at the time being, Rafael Nadal, will only be available for the PlayStation 3 version. Anybody surprised? If so, you need to know that things won't stop here: tennis legends Boris Becker, Bjorn Borg and Monica Seles will also be "divided" between the platforms and, since it's only three of them, we would bet that the PS3 version will have another advantage. Now, knowing that, we really wonder if we will ever see a FIFA game where Ronaldinho is only available on one console...

Beef aside, slated for a spring 2008 release, will feature on both platforms players like Maria Sharapova, Roger Federer, Justine Henin, Amelie Mauresmo, Tommy Haas and many more. It will also feature signature player animations and expressions, so you will really feel like you're actually Maria Sharapova if you choose to bring her the utmost virtual glory. Top Spin 3 will be available for Xbox 360 consoles, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii and DS.
