The Verizon logo visible on the former

A few nice-looking Windows Mobile-based handsets from HTC are on their way to the US market in the following months, one of which will be the HTC Whitestone, headed straight towards Verizon Wireless' lineup. While info on the device emerged a few times before, now we can take a look at a photo with it, along with a few interesting details.

First and foremost, the new photo with the Whitestone that surfaced on WMExperts shows the Verizon logo on the device, right above the display. At the same time, anyone can easily notice that the Windows Flag button will be placed in the center at the bottom, which doesn't look bad at all in the end. Right next to it a multimedia/music button is also a welcomed addition.

The HTC Whitestone, which is none other than the HTC Touch Diamond2, should come to the carrier's airwaves with a series of modifications from the original device, yet we previously learned that they are actually for the better. Unfortunately, there are still no details on when the phone will actually come to the market, nor on the price tag it might feature, yet it shouldn't be too long before the info comes out.

In the meantime, we should take a look at a series of new photos with another HTC device that made it into the wild recently via ai.rs blog, the HTC Leo. Also a Windows Mobile-powered phone, Leo reportedly boasts a 1GHz Snapdragon platform inside, which should provide a lot of processing power to its owners.

The new photos show a great-looking device, that's for sure, again with the aforementioned Windows Flag in the middle, next to a home button. Compared to the previous images that supposedly showed the handset, the new ones seem to be much better, provided that they are real. The handset is rumored to surface sometime in September, so it won't be long before we'll learn whether this is the actual HTC Leo. Stay tuned to learn more on it.
