Persona 3 FES Pulls the Trigger in North America

- With over 120 hours of gameplay, you know it's something great

By: Calin Ciabai, Games Editor

First of all, you should know that you don't need to have the original Persona 3 game in order to play P3 FES. Then, you should know that this PlayStation 2 game will come in North America
with 2 discs, which basically make it a two-in-one kind of game, since it features a brand new chapter that promises to bring you more than 30 hours of gameplay and enhanced version of the original game loaded with new content.

As we have already said, Persona 3 FES is a stand-alone product. However, it is somewhat compatible with Persona 3, which means that some of your saved data can be transferred in the new version – your Persona compendium, for example. Also, the new story is... new and you can start playing even if you haven't played the original game.

So, in Persona 3 FES, you will lead Persona, a group of high school students with a dangerous extracurricular activity: exploring the mysterious tower Tartarus and fighting the sinister Shadows during the Dark Hour. However, in this new version, the end of their quest is no longer the end of the story - witness for the first time the aftermath of the final battle and the students' struggle to find meaning in their new lives.

One of the most important feature P3: FES comes with is its incredible value: over 120 hours of gameplay, which is huge. Also, you will have a hard difficulty mode available as well as the ability to change your character's clothes, if wearing the same old things is not really your style.

The game is scheduled for its PlayStation 2 release on the 22nd of April this year for a recommended price of $29.99 and it is rated M for blood, language, partial nudity, suggestive themes, and violence. Things some people would call "fun". Not us, we're pure little angels, you know?
