That “Twilight” star Kristen Stewart has a rather uncomfortable relationship with the press is not something new. She’s also uncomfortable with the idea of fame, which is something she stresses in her latest interview with GQ.

Sitting down with the magazine to talk about the upcoming “Twilight” installment, “Breaking Dawn Part 1,” the actress opens up on a variety of topics, including her career, her personal life and, last but not least, the “Twilight” phenomenon (quotes via Kristen Stewart Web).

There’s no denying that the vampire film franchise remains the biggest of today, gaining more fans since the first installment came out with each new release.

Even though she’s had years to adapt to the idea that she’s an internationally recognized star, Kristen tells GQ she still has trouble coming to terms with the reality of it.

People are crazy to react this way about a movie, she honestly believes.

“Sure. I mean, people are crazy. Everyone does what they have to do to protect themselves, but it would be fake for me to sit here and say people are not crazy,” she says of the madness that surrounds “Twilight.”

“I’m sure lots of people shy away from this question as they want to make sure they look 100 per cent appreciative all the time and that everything is the most amazing thing always…” she adds.

“But at the end of the line, people are [expletive]-ing crazy! I would have been very happy just working from job to job, paying my rent one movie at a time. I never wanted to be this famous. I never imagined this life for myself,” Kristen continues.

This wouldn’t be the first time that she says things like that, which have often brought her in the line of fire from some fans for sounding almost ungrateful.

She’s far from that, though, she insists. She just doesn’t understand.
