To no one’s surprise, it seems that the Steam Workshop feature of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on the PC is quite popular, as Bethesda has just revealed that over 2 million mods were downloaded in the first three days of the service’s availability.

Last week, owners of Skyrim on the PC were greeted with the brand new Steam Workshop feature, which allowed them to browse and download mods for the game right from the Steam digital distribution service.

While we were certain that this feature would prove to be popular, it seems that many Skyrim owners wanted to modify their own copies of the game. As such, over 2 million downloads have been recorded in the first three days since the launch of the Steam Workshop.

As of right now, more than 2,700 mods are already available through the service, so you can bet that the number of downloads will get bigger and bigger.
