For the third time in a career that spans over 20 years, Leonardo DiCaprio has been snubbed at the Oscars. Nominated for Best Actor with “The Wolf of Wall Street” at the 2014 edition, he lost out to Matthew McConaughey and “Dallas Buyers Club.”

So he went on a binge and ended up in Ukraine, with the protesters.

Call this choosing to see the full half of the glass, making light of a bad situation or simply inappropriate humor, but the photo above has emerged online and it’s getting a lot of circulation. A lot of it!

“After failing to win an #Oscar, Leonardo Di Caprio has gone on an all night coke binge and ended up in Ukraine,” reads the description of the photo, which is actually a screencap from a video news report, showing a Leo lookalike talking to the media on the topic of the protests.

Meanwhile, DiCaprio’s fans, who have been with him all along and especially during these times when, they believe, he’s being denied the recognition he deserves, are rallying online to get the Academy to pay attention to their pleas: just give the man an Oscar already, he deserves it, they’re saying on social media.

If they're starting a petition, I want to know where to sign.
