14 DAY TRIAL // There’s no denying it now: Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are an item and they’ve just made it official by attending the Vanity Fair Oscar party together – and walking the red carpet hand in hand.
Rumors that the two teen idols were romantically involved first started making the rounds last year, after Selena paid a series of visits to Justin on his tour bus and then went out on alleged dates with him.
Since word first got out, the two have tried to play it cool, presumably because they did not want to alienate a large chunk of their respective fanbase by admitting they were in a relationship.
At the fancy Oscar party, the cat was let out of the bag, which can only mean the two are very serious about each other.
Cue to MTV News: “The pair hit the carpet, not doing press but looking relaxed as they posed together for pictures. Bieber’s arm was around Gomez’s waist as they smiled for photos.”
“She was wearing a red Grecian-style gown. Bieber was in an all-black tuxedo with a red pocket square, matching his date for the night. They took photos as a pair, but also individually,” says the same e-zine.
“Inside the party, Bieber and Gomez posed for pictures with fellow teen star Hailee Steinfeld, held hands and looked at each other’s phones while they texted inside the fete,” MTV writes.
They also took photos together, with Selena’s hand resting on Justin’s knee. If that’s not confirmation they’re an item, nothing else is.
Justin, Selena and Hailee, this year’s biggest breaking out star with “True Grit,” were not the only big name celebrities at the Vanity Fair party.
Other guests included, Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake, who were reunited after walking the red carpet separately, Natalie Portman and fiancé Benjamin Millepied, no doubt come to celebrate Nat’s win for Best Actress, and Gwyneth Paltrow, who performed during the awards ceremony.
Also in attendance were Taylor Swift and Emma Stone, Jake Gyllenhaal, Michelle Williams, Jamie Foxx, 50 Cent and Jennifer Hudson, among many others.
