Report says good friends Orlando Bloom and Liv Tyler are now romantically involved

Hot on the heels of reports that Miranda Kerr is moving on from her failed marriage to Orlando Bloom with Australia’s richest man, James Packer, comes a rumor that Orlando too has moved on, even though not yet publicly. He’s reportedly dating “good friend” Liv Tyler.

The two have starred together in the “Lord of the Rings” movies and have been close ever since. As of late, the relationship has turned romantic, insiders reveal for Star magazine, as cited by online sister publication Radar Online.

“An eyewitness claims Bloom and Tyler got cozy backstage during the opening night of Broadway’s Waiting for Godot and then took their PDA to the after-party at Bryant Park Grill,” the e-zine writes.

“When they got behind closed doors, they were playfully tickling, gazing into each other’s eyes and holding hands,” an insider is cited as saying, suggesting that the romance might not be that new either, since the two were comfortable with the PDA amongst fellow partygoers.

Another source explains for the tab that Miranda and Orlando parted ways on very amicable terms. They were together for 6 years and have one child together, and are determined to go out of their way to make everything alright for their son.

So, even if they’re no longer together and have started seeing other people, they “are trying not to cause a scene with other people out of respect for each other,” the tipster shares.

At least we know for a fact that this last part is true, namely that Orlando and Miranda are still on very good terms since, days after the divorce announcement, they were photographed together running errands and even sharing a peck on the cheek when the time came to say goodbye.

Asked by the paparazzi separately how they were handling the split, they said that, while they might still not be lovers, they would always be “family” and had nothing but love and respect for each other.
