Qipit is a free service developed by Realeyes3D that allows users to organize their physical documents into a highly readable digital format using their camera phones. Documents scanned with Qipit are accessible through the Internet via a secure connection, making them available for reading, sharing or printing from anywhere.

All it takes is a few simple steps and Qipit allows users to transform any physical documents into scan-quality copies that they can securely store or conveniently share as digital documents (in the PDF format) on their computers and online on Qipit's website. To use Qipit, users must first take a picture of the desired handwritten or printed document with the phone's camera. After this, they only need to insert the photo of the document into an email message and send it to a Qipit email address - there are two email addresses to choose from: [email protected] - for black & white copies; and [email protected] - for color copies. Those who don't have access to the Internet from their phone can also use the service by manually uploading the photo from the computer to their online Qipit account. After the photo is emailed or uploaded, Qipit's patented ink-extraction technology automatically transforms the photo into a high contrast, easy-to-read digital copy or "qipit" that can then be stored or shared online. Qipit also sends a copy of the scanned document to the user's mobile phone so it can be used while on the go.

Unlike the original photograph of a document, which appears as a dark, low contrast picture, scan-quality "qipits" are clear ink-on-white digital copies of the original documents. Moreover, Qipit's scanning technology improves the text quality and readability, while maintaining the quality and integrity of the photos in the documents. A Qipit digital copy can be easily read, printed, and faxed. In addition, Qipit copies can be made public and shared via a URL link to the original online document for easy access and sharing.
