Wireless carrier Orange UK is expected to soon launch two new smartphones on its airwaves, including the BlackBerry Pearl 9105 and the Motorola FLIPOUT. While Research In Motion's device has been already listed on Orange's coming soon page, which makes things as official as they can be, the Motorola FLIPOUT is only rumored to be on its way to the company.

The BlackBerry Pearl 9105 was announced officially in late April. The handset offers a great deal of appealing features, including support for 3G networks, Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR and A2DP, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, 3.5 mm stereo headphone plug, built-in GPS receiver, support for BlackBerry email, a 3.15-megapixel camera with video recording, 256MB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space, and a battery that can offer up to 5 hours of talk time or up to 18 days of stand by time.

Here's what Orange has to say about the device: “pocket-sized power in the palm of your hands...welcome to the BlackBerry Pearl 9105. The optical trackpad and dedicated media keys make it easy to access music, videos and the vast range of apps available, whilst the SureType technology ensures quick and easy communication with work colleagues and friends alike.” The new mobile phone measures 108 x 50 x 13.3 mm and weighs in at 93g. The BlackBerry Pearl 9105 can be seen at Orange here.

As for the Motorola FLIPOUT, nothing official on its arrival at Orange was announced for the time being. However, a recent post on coolsmartphone states that the new mobile phone would be on its way to the carrier, and that it might not be too long before Orange announces it as available both for Pay Monthly and Pay As You Go users. With a square 2.8-inch touchscreen display and a full QWERTY keyboard hidden beneath it, aGPS, 3.1-megapixel camera, and support for 3G / HSDPA networks, the Motorola FLIPOUT would join other Android 2.1-based handsets in the carrier's offering.
