The Opera Mobile browser is being pre-loaded on the latest mobile phone from Motorola to arrive on shelves in Brazilian market, namely the super-slim MOTOKEY XT.

Motorola and Opera announced the signing of an agreement through which the handset will offer as default browser the Opera Mobile application.

Starting today, mobile phone users in Brazil have the opportunity to purchase the new device through retailers and carriers, also to benefit from an enhanced Internet browsing experience courtesy of Opera Mobile.

MOTOKEY XT users will be able to the web on the go through the mobile browser, while enjoying an experience similar to the one offered on the desktop computers. On top of that, the browser delivers important savings.

The mobile phone will arrive on shelves with a built-in link that will offer direct access to the Opera Mobile browser.

“The MOTOKEY XT is all about meeting the needs of our active and social customers,” said Fabiano Guimaraes, Sales Director, Motorola Mobility.

“Taking advantage of the cutting-edge hardware and software on Motorola phones, the Opera Mobile browser can give our users access to their favorite websites in a faster, more effective manner.”

Opera Mobile is a full-fledged Internet browser that packs the same rendering engine as the Opera for desktops browser. It also offers support for HTML5.

Not to mention that it also comes with Opera Turbo, which offers users the possibility to easily turn on (or off) data compression to benefit from less data usage and lower browsing costs.

MOTOKEY XT comes to the market with a slim design, and sports both a touchscreen display, as well as a sliding full QWERTY keyboard. It would provide users both with great messaging capabilities, as well as with enhanced Internet browsing features.
